Reservoir Dogs Opening Scene

1.One of my favourite films of all time and a great opening starts of with an entire male ensemble walking out of a dinner who are our figures of representation.
2. These characters are represented with a level of seriousness but walking with a level of laid back suave they all seem like strong characters, typical alpha males, one thing that isn't clear is the leader of the group. They all get reasonably equal screen time and a name caption also creating this equal sense among the characters

4. I would say that Dyer is more accurate in this context as the characters do come across as stereotypical alpha males they all seem to walk with a sense of smugness and pride. This can be seen in a variety of different films and forms of media therefor backing the stereotypical theory and making them more believable in society.
5.I feel that everything that needs to be seen is for grounded there isn't anyone who doesn't get a screen shot and name caption which brings them all to the forground.

9. I think that the semiotics of this scene leave a lot to be guessed about the movie but it also gives as a small indication as to genre because of the all male cast as gangster movies are usually dominated by males

Additional notes
The semiotics are strong within the
